Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will announce the institutions brought under MPO on Wednesday at Ganabhaban in the capital.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni came up with the disclosure at a press briefing in the International Mother Language Institute.

She told reporters that all eligible educational institution will be brought under the Monthly Pay Order (MPO) facility as per their performance. The eligible institutions will get MPO benefits.

“There is no scope to amend the current MPO policy as well as no way to go beyond the rules,” she added.

The Education Minister urges non-MPO teachers who have been staging hunger strikes, to go back to their classes to get MPO facility.
